The Tour of Waccasassa: The Ride for Josh, a fully supported ride, will take you along lightly traveled roads through the Waccasassa Flats, the rustic farms of Gilchrist County, and the springs regions of the Santa Fe River.
The ride offers 24, 40 and 60 mile loops for riders of all ages and experience. Each individual distance ride will have a group start but individual riders can start on their own after 7:45am if they so choose.
This ride is the perfect opportunity for those training for the fall century season with its moderately challenging course along with its breathtaking scenery and the camaraderie from riding with other cyclists.

In addition to allowing you to ride the event, your entry fee will get you a Tour of Waccasassa T-Shirt (if registration recieved or postmarked by July 1, 2004), admission to Poe Springs park which features the best swimming hole in all of North Central Florida, snacks and beverage refills at all the pit stops during the route, and food at the post event cookout (vegetarian items available upon request). All proceeds from the Tour of Waccasassa: The Ride for Josh will benefit the Children's Organ Transplant Association for Joshua A. For more information on this charity, please click here.

Early registration for the event is $25.00 and can be done either online or by mail. Early registants are guaranteed a t-shirt. After July 1, 2004, the registration fee is $30.00 and t-shirts will be given on a first-come first-served basis depending on availability.

July 30, 2004:
4:30pm-7:00pm: Registration packet pickup & late registration at Santa Fe Bicycle Outfitters, 10 N. Main Street, High Springs, FL.

July 31, 2004:
7:00am-10:00am: Registration packet pickup & late registration at Poe Springs Park.
7:30am: Group start for the 60 mile ride.
8:00am: Group start for the 40 mile ride.
8:30am: Group start for the 24 mile ride.
1:30pm: All ride support ceases.
